Purpose

ASMO is committed to make sure its data is protected, such as “Personal Data” and other ASMO data. Key principles of data privacy that shall be addressed to maintain the privacy of ASMO data, these principles are; Transparency, Purpose Limitation, Data Minimization, Accuracy, Storage Limitation, Integrity and confidentiality, and Accountability. Many countries where ASMO may operate have specific laws and rules for Personal Data privacy and protection. ASMO is committed to comply with these laws and rules wherever they apply.

This policy applies to our ASMO employees and directors who create data, maintain, or use it for decision making or planning.

Personal Data

Is any element of data, regardless of source or form whatsoever, which independently or when combined with other available information could lead to the identification of a person including but not limited to: Name, contact details, function, salary, performance evaluation, Identity ID, addresses, Phone Number, bank account number, credit card number, health data, images or videos of the person, IP address, employee number.

Data Subject

Any natural person to whom the personal data relates to, or his/her representative, or the person who has legal custody over him/her.

Data controller

Any entity, or any natural or legal person, that collects Personal Data from a Data Subject and carries out processing of that Personal Data, directly or indirectly, through a processor, pursuant to a legal basis.

Consent

A knowing, voluntary, clear, and specific, expression of consent, whether oral or written, from the Data Subject signifying agreement to the processing of their personal data.

Policy Description

  • Fairness, Lawfulness, Transparency: Personal Data shall be processed lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject.
  • Purpose Limitation: Personal data must be collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purpose, and not processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.
  • Consent: ASMO is committed to obtain approval from data subject regarding collection, use and/or disclosure of personal data before collection.
  • Data Minimization: Personal Data must be adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
  • Accuracy: Personal Data must be accurate, and where necessary, kept up-to-date. Every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that Personal Data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purpose for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay.
  • Storage Limitation: Data must be kept in a form that permits identification of data subjects (individuals) for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed.
  • Integrity and Confidentiality: Data must be processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organization measures.
  • Accountability: Data controllers shall be responsible for, and be able to demonstrate compliance with all relevant regulations and policies for privacy, protection, and confidentiality.
  • Access to Data: Data Subject should have the ability to access, review, update and correct their Personal Data.
